995       송변전   just in time                                원자재 또는 부품이 필요 할 때, 정확한 시간에 원자재 또는 부품을 생산라인에  도착하도록 운반하는 시스템. 도요타가 개발한 JIT는 비생산적   재고 관련 비용의 발생을 막기 위해 재고를 최소화하거나 제거하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 시스템을 채택함으로써 생산은 pull system을 사용  한다. pull system에서는 제품을 생산할 필요가 있을 때까지 자재는 공급될 수 없다. 효율적인 JIT시스템은 모든 회사 기능들이 구매,   제조, 마케팅 및 판매 활동 속에서 조화를 이룬다. 경쟁력은 짧은 시간 내에, 요구된 양만큼, 요구된 제품을 시장에 내 놓을 수 있는 회사의 능  력에 기인한다. 비 부가가치 비용을 피함으로써 가격 경쟁력 또한 얻을 수 있다. 개념은 간단해 보이지만 실제 적용은 매우 복잡하고, 관련 사항  이 다양하고 광범위하다.
